CRP Support Services: Research _ <br />The research staff provides assistance with custom research <br />requests on demand. The department has access to numerous <br />databases for corporate profiles and company intelligence, an <br />in -house GIS system complete with nationwide demographics for <br />comparison and analysis, and regional databases housing everything <br />from foreign owned firms to SAT scores. Primary objectives include <br />custom site selection analysis for corporations considering a <br />Charlotte USA location. Collaborative projects with other research <br />teams in the region are common. <br />The research staff provides partners with a monthly economic <br />overview, industry overviews, and custom collateral for marketing <br />events. All published material is available for download at www. <br />charlotteusa.com. <br />CRP Support Services: Technology <br />The CRP launched the new CharlotteUSA.com in October, 2010. <br />Developed by LGA, this year -long project created a more target <br />focused environment that includes interactive capabilities. The new <br />site better informs clients and prospective investors about Charlotte <br />USA. <br />The CRP also continues to provide state of the art online marketing <br />for our partners. Using GIS mapping technology, users <br />can display available properties on an interactive <br />Google map and gather economic, planning, <br />infrastructure, and geographic information.The user - <br />friendly Web site is a one -stop business portal. <br />Property information is provided from member <br />organizations and continually updated for the most <br />accurate listings possible.
