RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE CABARRUS COUNTY DIRECTOR OF LIBRARIES TO SIGN <br />MEMORANDUMS OF AGREEMENT OR APPLICATIONS FOR <br />GRANTS ASSOCIATED WITH LIBRARY PROGRAMS <br />Whereas, the Cabarrus County Library Department applies for grants to fund <br />library programs; and, <br />Whereas, the grant funds may be received from various sources; and, <br />Whereas, these grants are funded at 100 percent, with no county funds being <br />used; and, <br />Whereas, Memorandums of Agreement or Applications between Cabarrus <br />County and the various grant sources must be signed for acceptance of these funds; <br />and, <br />Whereas, these agreements must be executed timely; and, <br />Whereas, no expenditures can be made until a budget amendment is approved <br />by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners; <br />Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />that the Cabarrus County Director of Libraries is authorized to sign Memorandums of <br />Agreement or Applications between Cabarrus County and the various grant sources for <br />the receipt of grant funds. <br />Adopted this the day of January, 2010. <br />H.
