<br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII: MEETINGS <br />The Board shall schedule six regular bi-monthly meetings, at a regular time and date agreeable to <br />members of the board. Special meetings maybe called by the Chairman or on the written request <br />of two members for the transaction of business stated in the call for the meeting. <br /> A quorum of the board shall consist of a simple majority of the board. Robert's Rules of Order shall <br />govern all proceedings. All meetings of the board will be governed by the North Carolina O <br />en <br /> p <br /> Meetings Law (NCGS 143-318.9 to 143-318.18). Order of business shall follow this order: (a) Call to <br /> Order, (b) Public Comment Period, (c) Approval of Minutes, (d) Director's Report, (e)Unfinished <br />' Business, (f) New Business, (g) Branch Reports, (h) Board Comments, (i) Announcements, <br /> (j)Adjournment. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE VIII: AMENDMENT <br />Th <br />b <br /> ese <br />y-laws may be amended by a majority vote of members present at a regular meeting of the <br /> Board of Trustees at which a quorum is present, provided that the proposed amendment was made <br />' known to all members in the call for the meeting. <br />' ARTICLE IX: APPROVAL <br />These by-laws are subject to the approval of the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Attachment number 1 <br />' F-3 Page 73 <br />
