Land Use Plan for the Harrisburg Planning Area <br />LandDesign PN- 1008319 <br />October 2009 Invoice Period <br />Progress Summary <br />The following is a summary of the work completed by the LandDesign team for <br />the period indicated above. <br />Phase I: Inventory and Analysis <br />B. Education Session <br />• Preparation for the education session (powerpoint presentation and <br />additional research) with elected and appointed officials and the school <br />board. <br />C. Data Collection <br />• Gathered additional information relevant to the issues that were identified <br />in stakeholder interviews. <br />D. Review of Data, Regulations, Plans and Studies <br />• Reviewed additional data gathered, particularly specific plans for <br />development sites, utilities and transportation network components. <br />E. Inventory and Assessment of Existing Conditions <br />• Continued research of existing conditions intended to provide a snapshot <br />of the study area. <br />• Continued analysis of demographic, housing and economic conditions. <br />• Assessed infrastructure conditions and potential for expansion of utilities. <br />• Prepared templates for project documents and continued documentation <br />of the detailed assessment. Later in phase IV, this documentation will be <br />incorporated into the draft plan. <br />F. Advisory Committee Meeting <br />• Held Advisory Committee meeting. The purpose of this meeting was to <br />introduce the team, schedule and project to the committee.
