Land Use Plan for the Harrisburg Planning Area <br />LandDesign PN- 1008319 <br />November 2009 Invoice Period <br />Progress Summary <br />The following is a summary of the work completed by the LandDesign team for <br />the period indicated above. <br />Phase I: Inventory and Analysis <br />A. Study Area Visit <br />• Conducted a second study area tour to verify map data and better <br />relationships between certain developments. <br />B. Education Session <br />• Conducted the education session with elected and appointed officials and <br />the school board. <br />E. Inventory and Assessment of Existing Conditions <br />• Continued analysis of demographic, housing and economic conditions. <br />• Continued documentation of the detailed assessment. <br />F. Advisory Committee Meeting <br />• Held Advisory Committee meeting. The purpose of this meeting was to <br />introduce the team, schedule and project to the committee. Also, initial <br />feedback and findings were shared with the committee along with a <br />discussion of issues <br />H. Meeting with School Board <br />• Conducted a work session with the School Board to identify the <br />appropriate criteria to be considered when selecting a school site and <br />evaluating each site based on site conditions and intended program. <br />• Began drafting the school site guidelines and gathering supporting images <br />and illustrations. <br />J.
