Land Use Plan for the Harrisburg Planning Area <br />LandDesign PN- 1008319 <br />December 2009 Invoice Period <br />Progress Summary <br />The following is a summary of the work completed by the LandDesign team for <br />the period indicated above. <br />Phase I: Inventory and Analysis <br />E. Inventory and Assessment of Existing Conditions <br />• Continued analysis of demographic, housing and economic conditions. <br />• Continued documentation of the detailed assessment. <br />H. Meeting with School Board <br />• Continued drafting the school site guidelines and gathering supporting <br />images and illustrations. <br />J. Scenario Planning (CommunityViz) <br />• Completed suitability mapping based on additional refinements to factors <br />and definitions, including analysis of each factor and testing map output. <br />Results will later be used in determining which locations in the study area <br />are best suited for up to six types of land uses. Met with staff to verify the <br />direction and discuss use of suitability maps. <br />L. Community Open House <br />• Prepared an FAQ for posting on the project web site to address many of <br />the questions raised during and after the community meeting. <br />O. Phase I Summary <br />• Continued drafting existing conditions report, which summarizes all of the <br />results of the detailed inventory and assessment and includes supporting <br />information and maps. <br />Client/Team Coordination <br />• Correspondence with client <br />• Meeting with client about next steps <br />• Consultant team meetings/conference calls <br />I-1 <br />Attachment number 3 <br />Page 133 <br />
