Land Use Plan for the Harrisburg Planning Area <br />LandDesign PN- 1008319 <br />January 2010 Invoice Period <br />Progress Summary <br />The following is a summary of the work completed by the LandDesign team for <br />the period indicated above. <br />Phase I: Inventory and Analysis <br />E. Inventory and Assessment of Existing Conditions <br />• Completed analysis of demographic, housing and economic conditions. <br />Forecasts for residential and nonresidential development through 2020 <br />were developed. <br />H. Meeting with School Board <br />• Delivered the final set of school site guidelines. <br />J. Scenario Planning (CommunityViz) <br />• Using the results of the suitability mapping, began creating the basis for <br />the Business-As-Usual (BAU) model, the baseline against which plan <br />alternatives will be evaluated. <br />N. Vision, Goals and Objectives <br />• Draft goal statements based on issues, opportunities and input form the <br />community meeting. This initial set was drafted for upcoming discussions <br />with the AC, elected and appointed officials, and the public prior to the <br />charrette. <br />O. Phase I Summary <br />• Continued drafting existing conditions report, which summarizes all of the <br />results of the detailed inventory and assessment and includes supporting <br />information and maps. <br />• Prepared for February meeting with the Advisory Committee to discuss full <br />range of information gathered and assessed. <br />Phase I1: Plan Framework <br />A.
