HARRISBURG AREA LAND USE PLAN <br />6.5 CULTURAL AND HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />(CHR -1) Raise awareness of existing historic and cultural resources and <br />encourage the preservation of such resources that contribute to the <br />character of the area. <br />■ Consider conducting a formal survey of existing structures and properties that, <br />locally, have historic value to create an inventory of such assets. <br />Incorporate survey results and identify strategies for protection of places of historic <br />value in a Preservation Plan.
