Single - family <br />residents could account for 78.9% of the forecasted new housing units, less than the 92.5% share <br />in 2000 (Table 17). As <br />higher- density and mixed -use development emerges, approximately 400 new apartment units <br />could be completed by 2020. At an average size of 200 units, this would equate to two <br />communities. <br />6.3 Remaining Development Capacity <br />There are 23 entitled residential developments in the Planning Area, of which 13 are under <br />construction and being actively marketed and ten are proposed (Table 18). <br />Table 18: <br />2009 -2020 <br />ng <br />There are 2,256 lots remaining unoccupied or undeveloped in the entitled communities, or 65% <br />of the total approved inventory of 3,46O lots.
