<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 18, 2009 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Soil and Water - Applications for NC Community Cost-Share <br />Assistance on County Properties <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />NC Community Cost-Share Assistance Program is a voluntary, incentive- <br />based program designed to improve water quality through the installation <br />of various best management .practices (BMPs) to treat polluted <br />stormwater runoff and ultimately improve the water quality of our state's <br />waterways. Applications are for projects on three (3) county properties: <br />Cox Mill Elementary School, Mount Pleasant High School, and the <br />Sheriff's Office and Detention Center. These applications require <br />approval from the Board.
