In order to insure a level playing field for all <br />vendors, will the state consider requiring vendor's to use either SP Richard's or United Stationer's 2009 Catalog <br />list price as their base list price for the items shown in the awarded vendor's General Line Catalog (not requiring. <br />' they distribute the wholesale catalog, dust use the MSRPI? This would at least insure that the approximately <br />6000 most popular "Name-Brand" office products would be priced off of a common list price. We believe that <br />the state will have a much more difficult time managing and monitoring MSRP's for house brand products. <br />There are no third party standards that we are aware of with which to monitor these. The fact is that a higher <br />inflated MSRP can allow a higher discount percent to be bid overall. <br />ANSWER: <br />No. <br />' 15. QUESTION: <br />In order to properly monitor all pricing, will you require the awarded vendors to submit a complete listing of <br />products to you and on punch out orders, provide some type of program that verifies that the price pulled over <br />from the vendor's punch out catalog matches the submitted spreadsheet pricing? <br />ANSWER: <br />The first part of the question refers to Information for Offers to Submit in Section PJ. The second part of the <br />question, Offerors are not required to provide a program that verifies punch out catalog prices against the <br />submitted spreadsheet pricing. <br />' 16. You requested in the meeting that all files be scanned into one PDF File <br />(don't have 1 Excel and 1 Word file on the CD-R), however, item # 2 here you state "Each CD must be identical <br />' to the original hard copy.
