Box 707 <br />Concord, N.C. z8oz6 <br />Dear Cabarrus County Commissioners: <br />Mr. Charles Phillips has served as Chairman of the Cabarrus County Public Health Authority <br />Board since October X996. He was last re-appointed by the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners on June ~9, zoo6, and his three-year term of office ends on June 30, zoog. <br />Chairman Phillips recently submitted a personal letter to the Board of Commissioners, <br />expressing his willingness and desire to serve another three-year term on the Cabarrus <br />County Public Health Authority Board. <br />Chairman Phillips is a wonderful advocate for public health, on a state and national level. He <br />is highly regarded by our board members and staff, because he always maintains his position <br />on doing what is best for the citizens of Cabarrus County. Chairman Phillips brings a wealth <br />of knowledge and professionalism to our Board, and we continue to maintain a dedicated <br />and productive board under his experienced leadership. <br />Over the next few years, Cabarrus Health Alliance will be preparing to relocate to a new <br />facility at the North Carolina Research Campus.
