After the above activity has occurred, firms or individuals will be identified that will be best <br />able to provide services to the County. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The project consists of a feasibility study, master-plan and design of a public safety training <br />center that will include facilities for all public safety related agencies, including, but not <br />limited to Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, Emergency Medical Services and Emergency <br />Management. <br />The feasibility study will include an assessment developed with input from all emergency <br />service discipline providers within Cabarrus County and representatives from Emergency <br />Services Training and Curriculum Providers from local community colleges to determine <br />agency requirements for this facility. The study will evaluate existing law enforcement <br />training facility site to determine feasibility for expansion of this site as well as evaluate and <br />recommend alternate locations for development of this project. <br />The project will consist of a master-plan including engineering services and design which <br />includes: project site plan, conceptual design, building and circulation layout, utility needs <br />and alternatives. Site layout shall include any existing, proposed and future buildings. <br />Energy analysis and alternatives shall include various energy options, ecological/green <br />factors and LEED components. <br />The facility design shall at the minimum include the following: <br />-General Classrooms <br />-Administrative/Instructor Offices <br />-Locker Room and shower facilities <br />-Advanced firing range <br />-Physical training facilities, including obstacle courses <br />-Fire training tower <br />-Fire burn building <br />-Fire & Rescue training pits\props <br />-Equipment cleaning\storage <br />-Emergency vehicle operations pad <br />-Parking <br />Page ~ 3 <br />Attachment number 2 <br />F_g Page 179 of 627 <br />
