Mr. Covington has been instrumental in the design of numerous master planned sites <br />including residential complexes, higher education facilities and urban redevelopment projects. <br />SUMMARY OF W®RK EXPERIENCE <br />Western Piedmont Community College Training Facility -Morganton, NC <br />Timmons Group is currently undertaking the design and planning of a Fire and Emergency Services <br />Training Facility at Western Piedmont Community College. The facility currently involves plans for <br />developing the 50 acre site to include a residential and commercial burn building, a driving course, <br />an ATV course, a skid pad, a hazardous materials rail car, a drill tower and general classrooms to <br />serve the emergency training needs of Burke County. Plans for a ('firing range are included in the <br />long range plan. <br />Rockingham County Judicial Center- Wentworth, NC <br />Provided surveying, site planning, civil engineering and landscape architecture services for <br />the design and development of the new Rockingham County Judicial Center to include a new <br />courthouse, detention center, Law Enforcement Center and an Emergency Operations/ 91 I <br />Center. The project is LEED® Registered with Sliver Certification anticipated, making it the first <br />North Carolina courthouse to achieve this designation. <br />22 Years Bahama Volunteer Fire, Rescue & Emergency Management Service -Bahama, NC <br />Affiliations Evaluated potential layouts and developed site plan for new emergency services facility located <br />American Waterworks in Durham County. beveloped standard civil site services, construction documents along with a <br />Association (AWWA) detailed storm water management plan, which accounted for the development location within a <br /> critical watershed. <br />Professional Engineers of <br />North Carolina (PENC) Hoke County Law Enforcement Center, Holce County -Raeford, NC <br />National Society of Currently developing the civil engineering documents for the design and development of a new jail <br />Professional Engineers facility.
