• Architect will attend one meeting of Park Planning Committee, one with public stakeholders, <br />one with the County Commission, and one Project Reveal at a public event. <br />• CONSTULANT will obtain the service of a Geotechnical firm to perform sub-surface soil <br />exploration and borings as needed. <br />final Master Plan <br />Based on input from the Park Planning Committee and stakeholders, CONSULTANT will finalize the <br />Master Plan and Master Plan Report. CONSULTANT will make final changes to the Master Plan design, the <br />Opinions of Probable Construction Costs, and Construction Phasing. <br />CONSU LTANT will present the Final Master Plan and distribute the reports to the Park Planning <br />Committee and public stakeholders, as needed. <br />Products of the Fina! Master Plan: <br />• Twenty Master Plan reports that include Program, Site Analysis, Conceptual Master Plan, a colored <br />reduced Master Plan, Architectural Rough Plans, Elevations, and Character Sketches, Opinion of <br />Probable Construction Costs, and Phasing Strategies. <br />• Presentation boards of the rendered Final Master Plan and Architectural Drawings <br />• One illustrative perspective rendering of the park. From CONSULTANT'S experience, a three <br />dimensional rendering helps reinforce the Park's theme and vision, which has proven to be very <br />valuable in fundraising efforts. <br />• CONSULTANT will attend one meeting with the Park Planning Committee and public <br />stakeholders, one meeting with the municipal board, and final project reveal at a public event, <br />such as the Midland Magic Festival on October 3 and 4, 2009. <br />• Architect will provide rough plans, elevations and character sketches. Construction budgets and <br />phasing strategies. Provide presentation boards of the four rendered buildings. Attend one meeting <br />of Park Planning Committee, one with public stakeholders, one meeting with County Commission, <br />and one Final Project Reveai at a public event. <br />CONSULTANT will supply the full report and graphics in digital format so that it may be reproduced as <br />required for distribution and fund raising. <br />Funding Assistance & Coordination <br />CONSULTANT's Scope of Services is based on the following information: <br />• OWNER has already secured some of the funding for the project. <br />• The additional funding sources will be identified as the Master Plan for the project is developed <br />and construction phases are determined, <br />• Application deadlines will be included in the planning schedule as the Master Plan is developed to <br />ensure that all available funding sources can be leveraged. <br />• Utilizing the services of CONSULTANT to prepare funding applications. <br />funding Assistance & Coordination Phase: <br />Identification of Additional Funding Sources <br />• A maximum of three trips (including the kick-off meeting) to meet with OWNER to identify other <br />funding sources during the initial Master Planning process. <br />• Prepare a funding schedule for application deadlines to be incorporated into overall Master <br />Planning schedule. <br />• Prepare updates and funding parameters far each possible funding source for submittal. <br />A-4 <br />Cabarrus Co SE Aark <br />Attachment number 3 <br />G-9 Page 534 of 627 <br />
