CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 5/19/08 <br />Agenda Item # C - ~ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Commerce Department -Proposed Text Amendment (C2007-09-ZT) to the Cabarrus <br />County Zoning Ordinance <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The purpose of this text amendment is to clarify language related to protective stream and <br />waterbody buffers and to ensure that the terms of the Interbasin Transfer (IBT) are being <br />met. The Planning and Zoning Board voted unanimously at the April 17th meeting to <br />forward the amendment to the Board of Commissioners for final consideration. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board approves the agenda item as presented) <br />1. Hold Public Hearing <br />2.
