CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 6/16/08 <br />Agenda Item #_~ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Commitment of Centralina Council of Government (COG) Membership Hours <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />There are 60 COG membership hours available each budget year that may be applied to <br />recurring and one-time work projects. In the 2007-2008 budget year, the County used 7.5 <br />hours for the NC 73 Council of Planning, 37.5 hours for Community Development <br />contracts, and 15 hours for the NC 3 study.
