CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 7/21/08 Agenda Item # F' ~j <br />SUBJECT: <br />Commerce Department -HOME Consortium Three Year Renewal Agreement & <br />Authorizing Resolution <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Every three years the Cabarrus/Iredell/Rowan HOME Consortium must renew the <br />agreement and the accompanying resolution to satisfy HUD regulations. This agreement <br />does not commit the County to activity each year. It only commits the County to <br />participating in name. The annual contract and match funds must be approved to <br />participate annually. This funding is used for housing rehabilitation for the elderly and <br />disabled. The Board has previously approved the match funding and agreed to participate <br />for this fiscal year.
