CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 8/18/08 Agenda Item # ~_ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Evaluation of Cash Flow for Cabarrus County Tourism Authority as Directed by the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners on August 4, 2008 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Finance Directors for both Cabarrus County and the Tourism Authority evaluated the <br />annual budget and cash flow needs for the Tourism Authority. Based on a budget of <br />$2,674,146, a reserve fund of $454,605 meets and exceeds the cash flow needs of the <br />Authority on an annual basis.
