CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 8/18/08 <br />Agenda Item # ° ~ ~, <br />SUBJECT: <br />Communications and Outreach -Request to Broadcast Rowan Board of Commissioners <br />meetings on Channel 22 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Rowan Board of Commmissioners is requesting that Cabarrus County Channel 22 <br />broadcast its bi-monthly board meetings since Timewarner Cable broadcasts Channel 22 <br />in portions of Rowan County. In past agenda work sessions, Cabarrus County <br />Commissioners decided to delay a decision until Cabarrus County Channel 22's new <br />broadcasting system was installed and operational.
