RESOLUTION OF THE CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION <br />WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board of Education desires to maintain and operate a <br />bus maintenance facility located on a certain tract of real estate referred to herein as the <br />"Property" as described in Exhibit A; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Education and the Cabarrus Board of County Commissioners <br />have determined that it is in the best interest of both parties that title to the Property be held in <br />the name of Cabarrus County; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties have agreed that the Board of Education will lease the Property <br />from the County and act as the County's agent to supervise construction; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Education does hereby resolve as follows: <br />(1) Title to the Property described in Exhibit A is hereby transferred to the County. <br />The Board attorneys are directed to file appropriate papers transferring title of the <br />Property to the County; and <br />(2) The Board approves the Lease attached to this Resolution as Exhibit B; and <br />(3) The Board of Education approves the Agency Agreement attached to this <br />Resolution as Exhibit C; and <br />ADOPTED BY THE CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD <br />day of June, 2008. ~ , <br />ATTEST: <br />re~ y, <br />abarrus County Board of Education <br />(SEAL) <br />the <br />~.,..... y..., <br />Cabarrus County Board of Education <br />1•` ~ ~~ <br />
