CABARRUS COUNTY <br />4' 1792 ~ r~~ <br />~4 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />N c~ SEPTEMBER 22, 2008 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Commerce /Environmental Protection -Budget Amendment (Local Erosion & <br />Sedimentation Control Program Grant - $2,040) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funds to be received from <br />the NC DENR -Division of Land Resources for the Local Erosion and <br />Sedimentation Control Program Grant. The County has an already budgeted <br />60 percent match in travel to the NC DENR match of 40 percent within the FY <br />2009 Environmental Protection budget. Funds will be used for travel to related <br />workshops, digital cameras and GPS equipment. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to adopt budget amendment. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Pamela S.
