She is truly an invaluable member
of the NCCES Team in building a progressive program in Cabarrus and around the state. Her desire to improve
herself and others is exemplary. Her willingness to take on additional responsibilities creates that'above and
beyond' mentality that is represented to all staff members, state and local governing officials, and more importantly,
the clientele. This mentality encourages all that come in contact with her to do the same. She volunteers for extra
responsibilities beyond the county and district, and has demonstrated her leadership through her involvement with
the many state leadership committees including the Change Management and Marketing Initiative. She strives to
position Cooperative Extension within our community and around the state to strengthen the understanding of our
relevance in a vastly changing demographic area.
