Proposal to trot°idc <br />Sheriff's ()face Staffing At~alti~sis <br />for <br />C.;abarrus Coutaty, North Carolina <br />`; ' <br />>, <br />~' <br />~~ <br />^ Task #6: <br />Analyze community trends: <br />^ Identify the community profile, i.e., schools, cultural institutions, <br />business and industrial growth, together with other unique factors, to <br />evaluate the impact those factors have on the obligations of the <br />Sheriff's Office. <br />^ Population trends and projections -examine demographic data, current <br />population, and projections regarding how the community may change <br />or grow over a defined period. <br />^ Traffic issues -evaluate transportation trends as a means of gauging <br />policing strategies and current/projected workload on law enforcement <br />officers. <br />^ Development and growth patterns -identify how the community <br />anticipates growth, where growth may occur, and the implications of <br />those patterns on policing strategies.
