As directed by the <br />Emergency Management Coordinator, the Cabarrus County Transportation System will <br />provide assistance will the movement of patients, staff and equipment from other <br />facilities to the designated shelter locations. This support is based on the availability of <br />vehicles and drivers not committed to higher priority tasks. <br />1. The Director, Department of Social Services, or his representative, will direct <br />and control special medical needs shelter operations for the county. <br />2. Private facilities will be responsible for direction and control of shelters that <br />they provide for their clients. If the shelter facility is provided by local government, the <br />staff of the private facility is responsible for their area and is under the overall direction <br />and control of the shelter manager. <br />i] <br />IV.
