Translating certified copies of documents from Spanish to
English to determine if the customer has the necessary legal
papers with correct information to obtain a marriage license or a
certified copy of a birth, death or marriage
2. Speaks to Spanish speaking customers on the telephone or those
that appear in person that ask questions regarding amendments
to children's birth certificates, assumed name forms to open a
new business, wanting to legitimatize a child
3. The staff member serves as a liaison between our office, DSS,
Health Alliance and the Office of Vital Records in Raleigh
• In order to help our staff and customers deal with the language barrier,
this office has translated the following forms into Spanish and makes
them available. This helps ensure that the customer gives the correct
information that will be put on legal documents.
1. Instructions on how to obtain a marriage license
2.
