Murphy, CIRS-A <br />Date: December 22, 2006 <br />Subject: Cabarrus County Department of Aging <br />Advisory Board Appointments <br />On behalf of the Cabarrus Courriy Department of Aging Advisory Board, please accept the <br />following recommendations regarding appointments to fill vacant positions to this advisory <br />board. These recommendations were submitted to the Cabairus County Department of Aging <br />Advisory Board for consideration by a nominating committed during the December 18, 2006 <br />meeting and received unanimous support. <br />We respectfully request that: <br />* Alleane S. Reeves and Jerry V. Shinn be reappointed to serve a second term for three years <br />ending December 31, 2009: <br />* Theodore R. Drain, Nancy Yates and Frank Whitley be appointed to serve the vacant <br />positions of outgoing members Marilu C. Peck, Robert L. Mathis and Virginia "Boots" <br />Walker for a term to end on December 31, 2009: <br />• Virginia "Boots" Walker be reappointed to serve the remaining unexpired term created by a <br />resignation by Ron Harwood. This term will end on December 31, 2007. <br />Thank you for your time and consideration.
