----aoxm c uaw <br />To: Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />From: Kelly Sifford, AICP <br />Date: January 31, 2007 <br />Re: CDBG Scattered Site Housing Program Administrator Selection <br />Cabarrus County received four proposals for administration of the CDBG <br />Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation program. After evaluating the proposals, <br />staff is recommending that the Board of Commissioners select the Centralina <br />Council of Governments to administer the program. Centralina administers this <br />program in numerous other communities and has extensive experience with the <br />regulations of this program. Staff is still negotiating the level of service, <br />therefore; recommends making the selection contingent upon reaching a <br />satisfactory contract to be worked out with the staff attorney. The program <br />administrator will be paid out of grant funds. <br />f-/5 <br />
