Separate regulations relating to signage. <br />DELETE <br />^V <br />• Illumination <br />No flashing or intermittent illumination shall be used on an advertising sign or <br />structure. Time and temperature units and electronic/digital message signs are <br />excluded. All illuminated signs or structures shall be placed so as to prevent the <br />light rays or illumination therefrom being cast directly upon any residential <br />dwelling or road right-of-way. <br />•Imitative traffic signs. <br />No sign shall be illuminated, constructed, or displayed in any manner which <br />simulates official traffic or public notice signs or signals. <br />• Restrictions on direct illumination, banners, streamers, etc. <br />No source of illumination on a sign, such as floodlights, spotlights, unshielded <br />bulbs, etc., shall be directly visible from any public right-of-way, from any <br />residential district or from adjacent premises. <br />• Prohibited locations for signs <br />Except where specifically permitted by this Ordinance, signage, inclusive of the <br />supports, frames and embellishments thereto, shall not be located within the public <br />right-of-way, or sight preservation triangle as defined in this Ordinance. No sign <br />shall be attached, affixed or painted upon any utility poles, any tree, rock or other <br />neutral object.
