CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 4/16/07 Agenda Item # - -`> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Convention & Visitor's Bureau -Budget Amendment - $133,000.00 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The following budget amendment is to transfer funds from the CVB's fund balance to the <br />salary and benefit line items to provide for the addition of two Sales Managers. In addition, <br />funds of $8,000 are being transferred for the upfit of two offices for these positions; <br />$40,000 to equipment and furniture for the addition of three new offices at the Visitor's <br />Center; and $59,000 to the marketing line item for a research project, photography, sales <br />bid fees and a marketing project with Visit Charlotte. The Tourism Board approved these <br />transfers on February 28, 2007.
