PBH Local Business Plan 2007 <br />communication and collaboration. The Network Council evaluates the performance and service capacity of the <br />network and evaluates need for improvements. The Network Council focuses on business aspects of operations (not <br />clinical and consumer care-these are addressed in the Global CQI Committee and the Clinical Advisory Committee). <br />Elected Network Provider members represent providers. It is one of the major forums for input into LME operations. <br />Based on Provider feedback during'; the 2007 Local Business planning process, PBH will request that the Provider <br />Council develop asub-committee that is focused on business issues. This sub-committee will assist PBH in <br />addressing the Improvement areas noted below. <br />The Mission and Core Values of the PBH Provider Council are as follows: <br />The mission of the Piedmont Behavioral Healthcare Provider Network is founded in a set of core values. Network <br />Providers embrace the core values, which serve as the foundation of the Provider Network. <br />Inteoritv; Provide accurate and truthful representation. <br />Competence: Honor responsibilities to achieve and maintain the highest level of professional competence <br />for members and those in their employ. <br />Professional Conduct: Promote the dignity and autonomy of the profession, maintain harmonious inter- <br />professional and intra-professional relationships, and accept the profession's self-imposed standards.
