CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS Excellence in education is recognized by the Board as an important <br />foundation to Cabarrus County's future economic stability, and; <br />WHEREAS A team of students from Mount Pleasant High Schooi, the Cannon <br />School and Central Cabarrus High School dedicated their personal time to compete in <br />the Odyssey of the Mind Competition and advanced to the 2007 Odyssey of the Mind <br />World Finals, and; <br />WHEREAS The team was sponsored by the Mount Pleasant Lion's Club; <br />WHEREAS The Mount Pleasant Lion's Club team was comprised of the following <br />students: Daniel Norris, Thomas Norris, Constance Thomas, Ariel Dixon, Alex Ramdin, <br />and Sean Crisco, and; <br />WHEREAS The team placed 6~' in the competition; <br />NOW THEREFORE The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners does hereby <br />recognize the Mount Pleasant Lion's Club Odyssey of the Mind team and asks the <br />residents of Cabarrus County to join us in commending them for a job well done. <br />This the 23`d day of July, 2007. <br />Robert W.
