Department of Labor (NCDOL) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On July 17, 2007, Turner Construction Company was accepted into the N. C. Department <br />of Labor's Building STAR Safety Program for having outstanding safety programs on <br />construction projects such as the Cabarrus Sheriffs Office and Detention Center and <br />others. <br />In STAR, management, labor, and OSH (Occupational Safety & Health) work together to <br />establish a cooperative relationship at the workplace.
