CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 7/23/07 Agenda Item # ~ - q <br />SUBJECT: <br />Emergency Medical Services (EMS) -Transport Mileage Fee Increase <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />It has come to our attention that EMS is not able to claim the maximum amount of <br />reimbursement available to the County for Medicare and Medicaid transport mileage due to <br />our current rate of $5.00 per loaded mile.
