CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 8/20/07 <br />Agenda Item # f ' - s <br />SUBJECT: <br />Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Matching Incentive Grant Requests for Fiscal Year <br />2007-2008 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />In June, the Parks and Recreation Commission received from seven (7) non-profit <br />community groups requests for $145,553 in funding. In July, the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission recommended awarding $100,000 toward six community projects for FY <br />2007-2008.
