results. The consensus document may therefore contain guiding principles for <br />the entire corridor, with specific recommendations for the individual segments. <br />Step 4. Review Land Use Plans, Development Regulations and <br />Transportation Plan <br />The existing land use plans and development regulations of each local <br />jurisdiction along the Corridor will be reviewed for consistency with the Corridor <br />Vision. Existing transportation plans will also be analyzed for consistency <br />purposes. Necessary changes needed to conform to the Corridor Vision will be <br />identified. The final product will include a matrix showing the how and where <br />current plans and regulations support or detract from the adopted vision. <br />(NOTE: It will be the local government's responsibility to amend ordinances <br />and/or adopted plans to conform to the Corridor Vision.) <br />Step 5. Identify Implementation Strategies <br />Centralina and the Advisory Committee will identify potential strategies for <br />Plan implementation which will be included in the Plan. <br />Step 6. Plan Review <br />Centralina will compile a draft of the Study (which has received initial <br />Advisory Committee approval) and present it at two public forums (one <br />each in Iredell and Cabarrus Counties) where the public will be given an <br />opportunity to review the Plan and make comment. Following the public <br />forums, the Advisory Committee will be given to make any necessary <br />changes before endorsing the Plan. <br />Step 7. Plan Adoption <br />Centralina will present the recommended document to each local <br />government planning boards for review and recommendation and to a <br />meeting of the governing board of each jurisdiction for input and <br />adoption. <br />Step 8. Deliverables <br />Centralina will provide two (2) printed and bound copies of the final <br />report to each parfiicipating jurisdiction, as well as digital copies of all <br />maps, renderings, GIS shape files, and the final report. <br />I~ " '1 <br />
