Dickson, we <br />prepared a preliminary design and cost estimate for this project. The <br />proposed complex will consist of: <br />. 1-300' baseball field <br />. 2-200' baseball/softball fields <br />· 1-combination baseball/soccer field <br />. 2-soccer fields <br />. roadway/148 parking spaces <br />· accessible sidewalks to all fields and to connecting school facilities to <br />complex <br />. concession/restroom building <br /> <br />All fields will consist of athletic lights, irrigation, Bermuda turf, bleachers, <br />scoreboards, dugouts and baseball/softball fencing. Attached is a <br />preliminary cost estimate at $2,643,032. <br /> <br />With a joint effort by Cabarrus County Soil and Water District, County Commerce Dept., <br />County General Services, County Parks and Recreation Department, County <br />Emergency Management, and Cabarrus County School System, all the above issues <br />have been resolved. <br /> <br />According to the Finance Department, Cabarrus County Board of Commission approved <br />$97,750 in 2005-2006 for the improvements to Harris Road Middle School Park.
