<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # -r- or <br /> <br />Meeting Date 2120/06 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Automatic External Defibrillators (AED)'s <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />As part of the Safety Program for Cabarrus County, staff requests the purchase of 15 <br />AED's (currently one is located at the Arena) to place in locations throughout County <br />facilities, A grant was received from the Health Alliance to receive 2 additional AED'S, <br />bringing the total to 18. Training classes for all County employees on the operation of the <br />AED's, CPR, and basic first aid have been scheduled.
