There is a nine mo.nth lead time o.n planning the furniture needs. Ware
Bonsall has an o.ptio.n in their co.ntract to. provide that service. Any co.nsultant hired to.
carry o.ut this task will need to co.o.perate and co.o.rdinate with Ware Bo.nsall extensively
as so.me o.f the furniture is part o.f the co.nstructio.n costs and so.me o.f it is not. Detailed
planning fo.r this will be imperative to. ensure that we o.btain all of the furnishings and
equipment we need. The o.ptio.n o.n Ware Bo.nsall's co.ntract fo.r this service is $49,500.
Attached is Exhibit C fro.m Ware Bo.nsaU's o.riginal co.ntract fo.r Interior Design services.
Exhibit C defines the co.nsultant's services which include furniture need planning,
ordering, and installatio.n o.fthe furniture and equipment.

Pursuant to. the Bo.ard' s direction, an RFQ was issued for alternate Interior Design
propo.sals based o.n the specificatio.ns in Ware Bo.nsall' s propo.sal. Responses are due
back by April 17th at 12 noo.n. A brief presentatio.n will be made at the meeting
regarding furniture planning options.

~-to
