<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to GS 153A-18, a special commissioner must be appointed by <br /> <br />each county to supervise the surveying, marking, mapping, and to act as a liaison between <br /> <br />Cabarrus County and the NCGS; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jonathan Marshall, Special Boundary Commissioner for Cabarrus County <br /> <br />has turned over all materials relevant to the county boundary to Ted Cisine, Land Records <br /> <br />Manager for Cabarrus County; now, therefore, be it <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners does hereby request the <br /> <br />assistance of the North Carolina Geodetic Survey to establish the remaining boundaries common <br /> <br />to Union, Stanly, Rowan, and Cabarrus Counties; and be it further <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners authorize Ted Cisine, in <br /> <br />replacement of Jonathan Marshall, to commission the survey of the boundary between Union, <br /> <br />Stanly, Rowan, and Cabarrus Counties. <br /> <br />Adopted the XX day of XX, 2006. <br /> <br />Robert W.
