<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 4/17/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # G - ~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Industrial Development Incentive Grant for JHE Production Group, Inc. - Public Hearing - <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Pursuant to the Industrial Development Grant Program guidelines effective January 1 , <br />2004, JHE Production Group, Inc., has requested an incentive grant to expand and <br />relocate its production company from its current site in Concord to a new, larger facility in <br />Harrisburg. The estimated investment is $3 million ($2.5 million real estate and $500,000 <br />equipment). The company is eligible for a Small Corporate Headquarters Grant or 50 <br />percent of the real and personal property tax revenue value anticipated to be generated by <br />the project. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion "the Boarrlapproves the agenda Item as pI'8SeIIted) <br />Conduct pUblic hearing to consider the requested incentive grant.
