Alamance County Sheriff's Office will notify the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office and the Cabarrus County Sheriffs Office will pick up the disruptive Inmate as soon as possible. 9. Term of Agreement. The initial term ofthis Agreement shall be from January 9, 2006 through midnight January 8, 2007. This Agreement may be renewed from year to year after January 8, 2007, by mutual written agreement of the parties hereto. However, in the event either party hereto deems it necessary to terminate this Agreement for whatever reason, this Agreement may be terminated at any time by either party upon thirty (30) days advance written notice to the other party at the address set forth in this Agreement. This Agreement and The Medical Exhibit may only be modified in writing, signed by the parties hereto. However, Alamance County and Cabarrus County agree that the Sheriff's Office of both counties may attach exhibits or supplements to this Agreement pertaining solely to specific procedures for the transport, medical procedures, acceptance and discharge of Inmates, provided the terms of such supplements or exhibits are not in contradiction to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. 11. Paragraph Headings. Paragraph headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and are not deemed to be a controlling part of this Agreement.
