<br />the Alamance County Detention Center. Cabarrus County will provide the Alamance County <br />Detention Center with a form for reporting non-emergency Medical, dental or mental health <br />care back to Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />Notice within 24 hours of any emergency off-site trip, except that up to 72 hours will be <br />allowed for weekend emergency trips. <br /> <br />Alamance County will follow-up with adequate information to Cabarrus County so they can <br />accurately follow the progress of any inmate treated off-site and/or hospitalized. <br /> <br />Alamance County reserves the right to transfer inmates back to the Cabarrus County Jail after <br />review by the Alamance County physician, if the physician feels the inmate poses a threat or <br />has special needs that cannot be met at the Alamance County Detention Center. <br /> <br />All inmates from Cabarrus County must furnish to Alamance County a completed brief <br />health assessment form at the time of arrival as stated by Standards for Health Services in Jail <br />(See attached Health Assessment Standard.) If an inmate is brought into Alamance County <br />Detention Center without a completed health assessment, they will be denied admission to <br />Alamance Detention Center and returned to Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />Alamance County will not be responsible for any costs incurred for Cabarrus County inmates <br />whom our physician states needs emergency and non-emergency care. <br /> <br />Alamance County will notify with proper documentation Jennifer Koob, of Southern Health <br />Partners, any issues that arise out of the course of an inmates stay at A1amance County's <br />Detention Center. It is also determined that Don Eidman is the alternate contact for Southern <br />Health Partners. Any additional concerns regarding medical decisions will be discussed with <br />one of these individuals and any after hours emergency notifications will be handled through <br />on-duty Jail Shift Supervisors. <br /> <br />1="-2\ <br />
