<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 711 0/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # C - ~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Ch3 Biannual Disbursement of Employee Contributions to Local Nonprofits <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County employees may make charitable contributions to one or up to <br />ten local nonprofit agencies in Cabarrus County through payroll deductions. The <br />employees' charitable committee, called Cabarrus Helping Hearts and Hands (Ch3), <br />requested the recipient agencies appear before the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners to accept donations totaling $20,615.20 and to briefly explain how these <br />funds will help their organization. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion "the Board approves the egenda Item as presented) <br />Acknowledge each of the following nonprofit agencies: American Red Cross, ARC of <br />Cabarrus County, Coltrane L.I.F.E.
