The <br />CEF is an emergency fund designed to assist the community in the event of a <br />catastrophic event such as a house fire, natural disaster, or mass layoff. Funds <br />are distributed on an "as needed" basis. However, if no catastrophic event has <br />occurred by November 2006, the Ch3 committee will disburse the funds to local <br />nonprofit(s) addressing the greatest community need.
