(actual day <br />advertised not considered when counting seven (7) days) Bids are advertised by the following: <br /> <br />.:. Apparatus, Supplies, Materials & Equipment - <br />($90,000 or more) <br /> <br />Purchasing Agent <br /> <br />.:. Construction or Repairs - <br />($300,000 or more) <br /> <br />Purchasing Agent <br /> <br />.:. Certain Specific Projects - <br />Authorized by the <br />Board of Commissioners <br />($90,000 or more) <br /> <br />Board's Designee <br /> <br />1. All legal notices are published in a local newspaper and/or by electronic means (i.e. Cabarrus County <br />website) <br />2. Legal notices are normally due to the newspaper office three (3) days prior to publication. <br />3. Each legal notice must contain the following: <br />a. Time and place for bid opening <br />b. Time and place where plans and specifications may be obtained. <br />c. The phrase #Caharrus County reserves the right to reject any and all bids./I <br />d.
