<br />Quote Request for Basic LS Turnkey Installation <br />Rocky River Elementary Phase 3 <br />Concord, NC <br /> <br />Owner Responsibilities: <br />. Complete access to the site for construction using standard 2 wheel drive rubber tire equipment. <br />. Locate existing underground utilities and irrigation systems and mark all pole locations. <br />. Pay for extra costs associated with foundation excavation in non-standard soils (rock, caliche, high water <br />table, collapsing holes, etc.). Standard soils are defined as soils that can be excavated using standard earth <br />auguring equipment. <br />. Provide electrical design by Electrical Engineer. (Only if required) <br /> <br />Musco Responsibilities: <br />. Provide required poles, fixtures, brackets and foundations. <br />. Provide layout of pole locations and aiming diagram. <br />. Provide soils report and structural designs. (Only if required) <br />. Provide review of electrical design as provided by Electrical Contractor or Electrical Engineer. <br /> <br />Musco Subcontractor Responsibilities: <br />. Provide equipment and materials to off load equipment at jobsite per scheduled delivery. <br />. Provide storage containers for material as necessary and dumpsters for waste disposal. <br />. Provide adequate security to protect Musco delivered products from theft, vandalism or damage during the <br />installation. <br />.' Provide required structural and or electrical permits. (When necessary) (Permit Fees mayor may not be <br />necessary. ) <br />. Provide electrical design for Musco to review prior to installation. (Only if Required) <br />. Provide materials and equipment to install or upgrade existing electrical service panels as required or <br />necessary. (This needs defined per Electrical design). <br />. Provide materials and equipment to install all underground conduit, wiring, pull boxes etc. and terminate wiring <br />as required per electrical design. <br />. Confirm the existing underground utilities and irrigation systems have been located and are clearly marked so <br />as to avoid damage from construction equipment. Repair any such damage during construction. <br />. Provide materials and equipment to install LSS foundations as specified on Layout. <br />. Provide and install ground rods (one per pole location) for lightning protection per NFPA 780 Code. Poles 70' <br />and below require a #2 ground wire. Poles 80' and above require 2/0 ground wire. Ground rods to be 3/4"x10' <br />or 5/8"x8' with a 10' embedment. Ground rods must be installed in soil, not in the concrete backfill. <br />. Remove spoils to owner designated location at jobsite. <br />. Provide materials and equipment to assemble 32 - LSG fixtures and terminate all necessary wiring. <br />. Provide fixtures, materials and equipment to assemble 1 - 400 power flood security lighting and terminate all <br />necessary wiring. <br />. Provide equipment and materials to assemble and erect 7 - LSS Poies. <br />. Provide equipment and materials to install the new LCC and terminate all necessary wiring. <br />. Provide equipment and materials to install the new LCC and terminate all necessary wiring at two (2) existing <br />fields along road <br />. Contractor will commission Control Link by contacting Control Link Central at (877-347-3319) and going <br />through the following steps: <br />. Check all Zones to make sure they work in both auto and manual mode. <br />. 1 hour comprehensive burn of all lights on each zone. <br />. Set base line for the DAS (Diagnostic Acquisition System) <br />. Keep all heavy equipment off of piaying fields when possible. Repair damage to grounds which exceeds that <br />which would be expected. Indentations caused by heavy equipment traveling over dry ground would be an <br />example of expected damage. Ruts and sod damage caused by equipment traveling over wet grounds would <br />be an example of damage requiring repair. <br />Provide startup and aiming as required to provide complete and operating <br /> <br />\=-\\ <br />
