<br />t. <br /> <br />additional duty. <br /> <br />b. As required, prepare vehicles and equipment for operations in snow and ice. <br /> <br />c. Provide transportation for essential personnel that cannot get to work or other duty <br />locations due to weather conditions. <br /> <br />d. Provide routine transportation for individuals going to medical treatment or <br />relocating to a special needs shelter. Priority of transport to dialysis patients. and other essential <br />medical needs. <br />e. Track personnel overtime hours, supply purchases, equipment purchased or rented, <br />and equipment usage for use on county Public Assistance claims. <br /> <br />6. Public Information Officer <br /> <br />a. Prepare for continuous operations. Ensure that a PIG representative is available at <br />all times during response operations. <br /> <br />b. The Public Information Officer will contact Time- W amer Cable Company to provide <br />this cable television link with weather or response information to use on its emergency warning <br />system. <br /> <br />c. Once the County Manager determines the response level, the PIO will notify the <br />approved media outlets with this information. <br /> <br />d. The PIO will employ the notification formats described in paragraphG of this plan. <br /> <br />e. Track any supply purchases, equipment purchased or rented, and other equipment <br />usage for use on county Public Assistance claims. <br /> <br />7. Information Technology Services <br /> <br />a. The Information Technology Services Department will provide technical support as <br />needed to the EOC and the departments involved in the response. <br /> <br />b. The ITS director will determine which personnel will be considered "essential" and <br />ensure that those personnel are aware of their assignment.. <br /> <br />c. Priority of support will be to the Communications Center, the EOC, Call Center/phone <br />bank and the Logistics Receiving Point, in that order. <br /> <br />1. Non-Essential Departments <br /> <br />1. Once an emergency situation develops, the departments not designated as essential to <br />the response may be called upon to provide assistance.
