<br />~ <br /> <br />Emergency Operations Plan are still in force and will have to be performed. These missions <br />indude, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />Debris removal and disposal <br />Damage assessment <br />Shelter operations, including special needs shelters <br />Animal control and protection <br />Establishment and operation of the County Supply Point <br />Donated goods management <br />Operation of the Call Center/phone bank <br /> <br />The basic duties and responsibilities for these missions are listed in the Emergency Operations <br />Plan. <br /> <br />2. If alerted for duty, any county employee that cannot reach his work place due to severe <br />weather conditions will notifY the head of his department or the senior member of the department <br />on duty as soon as possible. If that employee is needed at work, then the county will provide <br />transportation from home to the work place and back. The department director will coordinate <br />with the Transportation Department to pick up the employee. The Sheriffs Department and <br />Emergency Medical Services may provide transportation in some situations. This transportation <br />will be on a priority basis and the employee should prepare for delays. <br /> <br />IV. DIRECTION AND CONrROL <br /> <br />A. The County Manager or his designee has the authority to activate the Inclement Weather Plan. <br /> <br />B. The Deputy County Manager - Operations will. direct the implementation of the plan and <br />ensure that all departments have been notified. <br /> <br />C. The Emergency Management Coordinator will supervise the county emergency response <br />efforts and coordinate for additional support where needed. <br /> <br />V.
