<br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />~ <br />~!ll!~Mg!!!y <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />CABARRUSCOUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />SOIL & WATER STEWARDSHIP WEEK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, fertile soil and clean water provide us with our daily <br />sustenance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, effective conservation practices have helped provide us <br />a rich standard ofliving; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, our security depends upon healthy soil and clean <br />water; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, soil and water stewardship calls for each person to help <br />conserve these precious resources.. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners does hereby proclaim April 24 - May 1, 2005 as <br /> <br />SOIL & WATER STEWARDSHIP WEEK <br /> <br />in Cabarrus County and commend this observance to our citizens. <br /> <br />This the 18th day of April 2005. <br /> <br />CarolynB.Ca~enrer,Chmrman <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />C.-3 <br />
